¡Happy new year! It's been quite a long time since my last post (again) But these have been some of the most intense weeks I've ever lived... We won another competition! This time it was Capital Sonora. I've written a review, but unfortunately it's on spanish and it's way too long to translate. But if you're still interested, you can always use google translator... Grenouille @ Keroxen festival

It's been a while since my last update, but we've been quite busy lately. Anyway, I had to write something about this great festival!

We arrived at the place at 5 o'clock to do the soundcheck. The stage looked amazing. There was a huge screen made of petrol cans behind us. In the ceiling, thousands of submarine creatures, some sort of abyssal fishes glowed among the dark, reflecting the stage lights.

Last friday we played at El Generador, in Santa Cruz. We were a little bit tired after a stressful soundcheck (we even forgot our snare drum!), but everything turned out pretty well. Thanks to everyone who came!

It was a great night! It's been a week since we played, but I'm still excited.¡I just can't wait for the next gig!

First gig with the new band @ Café 7

We're already working on preparations for the first show with our new line-up. It will be the 25th of July in Café 7 (La Laguna) We'll be waiting for you! (Although I'm afraid  if you're reading the English version, you'll probably live quite far from here)

New line-up!

¡Finally, after all this time, Grenouille exists again!. We're back with a new line-up. This time it's Laura Escuela (piano, celesta and other keyboards), Mónica Viñoly (violin and vocals), Jose Luis Pérez (drums and percussion) and Javier Afonso (Vocals,, guitar, accordion, musical saw...). Soon we'll be playing live!
